We formed the Salem County Nature Club to raise awareness and appreciation of the diverse natural resources available in the county. It is our hope that with a better appreciation of our natural resources we will be more willing to preserve them for future generations. At each monthly meeting we will provide an educational program concerning some aspect of nature. Each month we will hold two walks to public lands in Salem County. It is our goal to walk all of the public land in the County.

October Meeting
On Tuesday October 12, Michael Hogan of South Jersey Land and Water Trust will talk about how to conduct a stream assessment. This should prove to be very interesting especially since Michael will be using some of his magnificent photography to illustrate what is found in a healthy stream.
