Salem County Nature Club

We formed the Salem County Nature Club to raise awareness and appreciation of the diverse natural resources available in the county. It is our hope that with a better appreciation of our natural resources we will be more willing to preserve them for future generations. At each monthly meeting we will provide an educational program concerning some aspect of nature. Each month we will hold two walks to public lands in Salem County. It is our goal to walk all of the public land in the County.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Salem County Nature Club is hosting an evening bird walk with David Lord on Saturday November 12 at 3:30pm. The walk will take place at the PSE&G site at Money Island Road, Elsinboro. We will meet in the first parking lot. We will be looking for sparrows, hawk and owls.

Roork's Farm Supply, Inc. is hosting Pat Sutton for a Wild Bird Seminar at on Saturday November 19th at 1:00pm. Make a reservation at Roorks at birds@roorks.com It is free and Pat is always both informational and entertaining.
